How to make breads with cast iron cookware ?

If you're a bread lover and also a fan of cast iron cookware, then you're in for a treat. Making bread with cast iron cookware not only yields delicious results but also allows for excellent heat retention and even distribution. To get started, you'll need a cast iron pan or Dutch oven with a lid. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place your empty cast iron pan or Dutch oven inside to heat up. Meanwhile, prepare your bread dough by combining flour, water, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl. Once the dough has risen, carefully remove the hot cast iron pan from the oven and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Dust the pan with flour to prevent sticking, then carefully transfer the dough into the pan. Slash the top of the dough with a sharp knife, cover the pan with the lid, and place it back in the preheated oven. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the bread is golden brown. Once baked, remove the bread from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing. Enjoy the crunchy crust and soft, fluffy interior that only a cast iron pan can deliver.
